Text by Ekaterina Lazareva:

My freedom ends, where the freedom of another person starts. But who is this other person disturbed by my shooting at train stations, supermarkets and other public spaces? The city every day overfeeds us with visual images by selling everything as advertising spaces, and it wishes to sell us the viewfinder gaze as well. Whether these prohibitions to photographing circus, airports, metro recall the absurd tax on air from the progressive children's fairy tales? May be the forbid to photograph is prompted by horror of the photographer discovering the "naked emperor"? What has happened to our sense of reality, if we are so afraid of non-sanctioned photography? And why do someone still believe that limiting the photographer's freedom has something to do with others' freedoms?
